G42 Wins New US Authorisation for Advanced AI Computing

The decision strengthens a UAE-US technology channel that gives Abu Dhabi's AI groups a clearer route to the hardware base needed for sovereign and enterprise AI deployment.

G42 said the US Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security has included the United Arab Emirates in Country Group A:5 and approved G42 and Core42 as authorised recipients of advanced computing items under the UAE-US AI framework. The Abu Dhabi technology group described the decision as an important milestone in the evolution of the bilateral technology partnership.

The company said the move reflects years of engagement across US administrations and work by the UAE and industry to build technology protection and compliance frameworks. G42 said it remains committed to supporting trusted technology ecosystems, maintaining safeguards and deepening collaboration with US partners in ways that advance shared economic and national security interests.
