Dubai Silicon Oasis Draws AED 12.8 Billion Expansion Push

The new spending signal places Dubai's technology district agenda back at the centre of the emirate's AI and digital economy pipeline.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid launched AED 12.8 billion in strategic expansion projects for Dubai Silicon Oasis, according to a WAM item indexed by Google News. The announcement gives Dubai's technology district a fresh capital signal at a time when the emirate is positioning specialised zones as platforms for artificial intelligence, startups and advanced digital services.

The scale of the programme makes it the day's strongest UAE-specific investment story for enterprise AI vendors, infrastructure providers and consultancies. Dubai Silicon Oasis has long been tied to technology company formation and innovation activity, and a multi-billion-dirham expansion creates a broader route for suppliers tracking district-level digital infrastructure demand.
