UAE Opens Strategic Track For Agentic AI Across Government

The workshop turns a national target into an operating programme for federal entities, giving AI vendors and advisers a clearer route into public-sector transformation.

The UAE has launched the strategic track of its agentic artificial intelligence project, with more than 100 federal officials attending a workshop on embedding AI capabilities into government operations, according to WAM.

The national initiative aims to convert 50 percent of government operations, services and tasks into agentic AI-driven models within two years. Organised by the National Committee for the Agentic AI Project, the workstream focuses on federal operations, policy formulation, future foresight and decision-making efficiency under the UAE Government 4.0 framework.

The announcement gives enterprise AI suppliers a direct government adoption signal rather than a general strategy statement. It points to demand for workflow automation, governance, model oversight, change management and secure integration across federal entities.
