UAE Cabinet Puts 32 AI Advisers Into Ministerial Decision Work
The Cabinet system moves agentic AI from a national ambition into the core machinery of federal policy and decision-making.
The UAE Cabinet has approved the launch and rollout of a Cabinet AI Advisor system built around 32 specialised AI advisers. The system will analyse policies and legislation, assess their financial, economic, social and environmental impact, review global practice and provide recommendations to ministers as part of the work of the Cabinet and the Ministerial Council for Artificial Intelligence and Development.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said the advisers will work with ministers around the clock to follow decisions and implementation. The Cabinet also approved a governed process for issuing Cabinet decisions supported by agentic AI, with confidentiality and UAE cybersecurity standards identified as core principles.
The move forms part of what Sheikh Mohammed described as the largest transformation project for government services involving agentic AI. The Cabinet meeting also reviewed a programme to train 22,000 teachers and educators to use AI tools in teaching, assessment, curriculum analysis and lesson planning.
