UAE Cabinet Moves Agentic AI Into Government And Schools
The Cabinet decisions put public-service automation, ministerial decision support and education into the same national AI implementation cycle.
The UAE Cabinet has approved an artificial intelligence curriculum for all public and private schools and a new Agentic AI project for government services. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, who chaired the meeting at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, described the government project as the country’s largest transformation programme for services involving agentic AI.
The curriculum will cover AI data, algorithms, applications, risks and ethical use. Sheikh Mohammed said the objective is to train 22,000 teachers and educators to use AI in teaching, assessment, curriculum analysis and lesson planning.
The Cabinet also approved an AI Advisor system of 32 specialised assistants to analyse policies, legislation and strategies, assess their impact and provide recommendations to ministers.
