ADGM Puts AI Into 25 Core Business Functions

The first phase of the financial centre’s internal rollout turns artificial intelligence from an investment theme into an operating tool for regulation and client service in Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi Global Market completed the first phase of its artificial intelligence implementation in the first half of 2026, deploying the technology across 25 business functions in licensing, supervision and customer service. The financial centre said the work reduced manual workload by more than 5,000 staff hours a year.

ADGM said entities established in the centre, including MGX, hold more than $100 billion in AI-focused investment. The centre reported a growing number of institutions deploying capital into artificial intelligence as it seeks to deepen Abu Dhabi’s position in global finance.
