e& UAE and Ankabut have announced a collaboration to support advanced research through AI-ready connectivity, according to WAM. The partners positioned the initiative around the next generation of research infrastructure in the UAE.

The announcement brings telecommunications capacity into the research and AI agenda, connecting an enterprise network provider with Ankabut, the UAE advanced network for research and education.

G42 Offers Governments Portable Framework for Sovereign AI Deployment

G42 has launched its Digital Embassies framework and Greenshield operating model for governments seeking to deploy AI while retaining legal authority and control over data, systems and policies. Core42, G42’s digital infrastructure arm, implements the operational layer.

G42 said its heterogeneous AI Cloud includes sovereign AI clusters in North America, Europe and the UAE. The company said the framework is supported by its Microsoft partnership and complements the UAE’s planned five-gigawatt AI campus.
