Abu Dhabi Executive Council Puts Agentic AI Into Its Deliberations
The first use of the AI Committee System at the council level links a large public-investment programme to traceable, real-time analysis of government decisions.
Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan chaired the first Abu Dhabi Executive Council meeting to use the AI Committee System, an agentic platform deployed to support analysis-based discussion and data-driven decision-making. WAM said the system reviewed public projects and programmes, prepared executive summaries and supplied real-time insights and questions during the meeting.
The council directed an expansion of the Abu Dhabi Liveability Strategy after more than 60 major projects valued at more than AED12 billion were completed under a broader AED42 billion approved programme. The next five-year phase is intended to use predictive, data-driven planning to direct investment and develop public-private opportunities in community infrastructure.
The platform is designed to link outputs and decisions to their original source papers, while producing analytical reports, minutes and follow-up requirements. The council also reviewed AI education across private-school curricula from kindergarten to Grade 12.
