Abu Dhabi Puts $3.54 Billion Behind AI-Native Government Drive
The programme connects more than 40 public entities and more than 100 live AI use cases to a government transformation timetable that now carries a defined investment commitment.
Abu Dhabi is backing its plan to become the world’s first AI-native government by 2027 with a $3.54 billion investment programme, according to a report on the forthcoming Ai Everything Abu Dhabi summit. The Department of Government Enablement is integrating more than 40 government entities into a single AI-driven ecosystem, with more than 100 AI use cases already live across public services.
The department will host the October 6 and 7 summit at ADNEC Centre, where more than 50 UAE government entities are expected to present public-sector applications. The event has drawn a sold-out field of infrastructure builders, model makers, startups and investors, while international suppliers including AWS, Microsoft, Oracle and Snowflake are listed among exhibitors.
Wesam Lootah, Director General of GovDigital at the Department of Government Enablement, said the emirate had built a blueprint for AI-native government and was already applying it to services for people and businesses.
