Dubai Sets Agentic AI Plan for 295,000 Companies

The emirate is turning government sponsorship of AI into a direct market signal for vendors, systems integrators and startups serving private-sector transformation.

Dubai has approved an executive plan to accelerate Agentic AI adoption across the private sector, targeting 295,000 companies, 100 specialised AI assistants and 50 new Agentic AI companies over the next two years, Arabian Business reported.

The plan was approved by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum during a meeting of the Higher Committee for Future Technology Development and the Digital Economy. Sheikh Hamdan said Dubai aims to become the world's leading hub for developing and deploying advanced AI solutions, with the private sector playing a central role in the transformation.

The meeting also reviewed a broader pipeline of digital economy programmes. Dubai AI Campus hosts more than 400 specialised companies and has trained more than 1,500 participants through its AI Academy, the AI Infrastructure Empowerment Platform has been adopted by 27 government entities, and Dubai Founders HQ has attracted more than 1,100 members and 500 startups within nine months, with companies under its umbrella raising more than AED 200 million.

Inception42 and Microsoft Link Agent Platforms for Government and Enterprise Use

G42's Inception42 and Microsoft announced a collaboration to advance Agentic AI adoption by connecting Inception42's Catalyst platform with Microsoft 365 Copilot, Economy Middle East reported.

The companies said agents composed in Catalyst are served through Core42's Compass sovereign model and infrastructure layer and surface inside Microsoft 365 Copilot, while agents built in Copilot compose back into Catalyst. The partnership supports the UAE national Agentic AI initiative, which targets 50 percent of federal government operations using AI agents within two years.
