DIFC Puts $3.5 Billion Value on AI-Native Finance Plan
Dubai's financial centre is tying artificial intelligence to regulated finance, company formation and employment targets at a scale that gives enterprise AI suppliers a defined market signal.
Dubai International Financial Centre said it ended the first half of 2026 with 10,018 active registered companies after attracting 2,318 new active registered companies over the past 12 months, according to Dubai Government Media Office. The centre also reported 1,134 regulated financial services firms and 1,933 AI, FinTech and innovation companies, a 39 percent year-on-year increase in the innovation cluster.
DIFC said its plan to become the world's first AI-native financial centre will embed artificial intelligence across regulatory frameworks, business operations, talent development initiatives and infrastructure. The transformation is expected to generate $3.5 billion in economic value and create 25,000 jobs.
Arif Amiri, Chief Executive Officer of DIFC Authority, said the centre is creating an environment where capital, technology and talent converge to shape the future of finance. For vendors, consultancies and financial technology firms, the announcement points to AI demand inside regulation, operations, skills development and the wider finance infrastructure of Dubai.
